Prices

Too many studios don’t give any indication of price, so here it is!

£25 per hour weekdays, £30 per hour weekends. That’s for recording, mixing, mastering and anything else you may need. There is no extra charge for using any of my instruments or equipment and no hidden charges. I prefer people to sit with me during the mixing and have creative input, but if you would rather just leave the mixing to me, that is £25 per hour as well.

But How Much Will It Cost?

It’s a very big question with a pretty big answer. Check out my “How It Works” page for a rough guide on the process and costs.

Booking Fee

A deposit of £50 per day is required to confirm any booking over 2 hours. This will be returned if you give 2 weeks notice of a cancellation or change of day.

Production & Trumpet

I offer session trumpet for £30 per hour. Producing of tracks would have to be negotiated on an individual basis. I always comment and advise on tracks for free. Producing I define as writing material, restructuring songs and extra effects editing (beyond standard mix techniques).

Live Sound

I am available for freelance live sound. More info at Big Friendly Audio.

Location

Sound Shack Studios is situated in Shurdington, Cheltenham. There is ample parking for all sized vehicles.
